The Diary Of Anne Frank

This is an excerpt from Anne's diary, dated Saturday 15th July 1944

"It's really a wonder that I haven't dropped
all my ideals because they seem so absurd
and impossible to carry out. Yet I keep
them, because in spite of everything I still
believe that people are really good at heart.
I simply can't build up my hopes on a foundation
consisting of confusion, misery, and
death. I see the world gradually being
turned into a wilderness. I hear the
everapproaching
thunder, which will destroy us, too.
I can feel the suffering of millions
and yet, if I look up into the heavens, I think
that it will all come right, that this cruelty,
too, will end, and that peace and tranquility
will return again. In the meantime, I must uphold my ideals, for perhaps the time will
come when I shall be able to carry them."


This was read in morning pastoral as the prayer.
After pastoral i asked Sir if i coud keep it,
knowing im not very reigious he was quite shocked.
"May I ask why?"
"Because, at just what? 14 years of age? a little girl wrote that. So much wisdom filled her brain.
and, i agree with what she wrote. And it kind of reminds me of a conversation i had with someone last night. "
Mr. Tonkin smiled at me,
"I'm glad you want to keep the prayer Kantarli.
Barely anyone even pays enough attention to even listen to it."
"Thank you Sir"
"And i'm sure there's more wisdom in your brain Kantarli, your a very smart girl, Use it your advantage"
our coversation may seem little, and may not mean much to you readers but it meant alot to me.
and maybe one day i will be able to use this "wisdom" of mine he speaks of.

mothers, twilight, waterfalls and a happy7months :]

thursday:
another boring day but my mum came up from sydney to see me which was ok i spose. picked her up at the station and went home.

friday: got Kerrang! magazine in the morning but i missed out on the week before and was totally bummed. they had a bmth poster in it which i missed out on D: aswell as msi ><
went home and woke mum up so we could go shopping with nan after she got her blood test. went shopping and got candy :) happy kantarli. went with mum to go see twilight at the theatres at night time. nearly punched the chick in front of me coz she kept elbowing me with her skinny little arms ><

FINALLY GOT IN! the more i watch twilight the more i like edward cullen D: dammit --'
but yeah. when edward came on you shoulda heard all the girls laugh and sigh. i was the only one who squeeled when jasper came on :L i was like *stares at screen* *jasper walks on* OHMY *gigglesnortfangirlmoment* my mum stared at me and called me an idiot :L

saturday: stayed home most of the day. Walked across the road to the waterfall. reminded me of times with alex and i almost cried ><

sunday: mum went back home. got on the train at 8:45 and left soon after. funnily, i didnt really care. unlike when alex left :/

What's your best trait? i dont know tbh. everyone says my eyes but i really dont know.

What are you most passionate about? stopping animal cruelty and child abuse.

What is your biggest regret? not taking enough photos to remind me of how amazing my friends and family are and taking them for granted cause you never know when your going to lose someone who means the worlds to you.

i adore/idolise different people for different reasons. You may think im crazy but you just haven't got a mind like mine (:

Ryan Ross: i look up to him because even though he went through all of the horrible things that happened with his dad being an alcoholic, he still loved him. they had good times and bad ones. and Ryan got through it all. I'm hoping, that like him, i can get through all the stuff happening with my mum and maybe one day we can be best friends. but were just going to have to work on that for now.

Gerard Way: because he saw what the alcohol was doing to his body, admitted it and took the steps to stop his addiction. His band and his music have changed my life.

Keltie Colleen: Have you seen this woman? She is absolutely gorgeous. I wish i was as amazing as she is. Not only is she gorgeous, smart, talented, from what i've heard/read she is funny and amazing. but she is a great dancer and from what it seems, a beautiful girlfriend. she has to put up with so much shit from stupid teenies because she's going out with Ryan Ross, stupid shit like nasty comments, stupid rumours and just plain crap. honestly, you dont know her, neither do i but honestly, dont talk crap about her just because: ZOMG!!shift11elevenone1!! RyAn Is SoOoO hAwWtTtT!!!shiftoneelevenone1! I wOuLd SoO TtLy SeCkS hIm UpP!!oneone!!! He Is My FoOtUrR HuSbNdZzZ!
